Lotus C-01 motorcycle

I know its a matter of taste. I vote 'awesome'.

I'd love to know who's making the motor. Duc? Rotax?

motographite: LOTUS C-01

I noticed that too. Weight saving?

Certainly one of the most gorgeous bikes I've seen.

By golly, I kinda like those. It's certainly a new look, blending tank and fairings like that. There is only so much that can be done with a motorcycle, and we have certainly been treated to the endless rehashing of old ideas, or ideas so far out there as to be totally impractical. These look eminently rideable as well as innovative. I'll take the green one, please...

nice seeing something designed by artists without a wind tunnel.

but it will also suffer for those reasons.

What makes you say it wasn't designed in a wind tunnel? The article says that it was designed by engineers with the goal of being aesthetically pleasing as well as functional. It looks pretty slippery to me.

There are things that I have done on motorcycles that I really don't want in print. To call them damn negligent would be understated. Lucky to have all my parts. Not proud of it either. Scares schit out of me sometimes when I think about certain moments. Could have ended very differently.

I wouldn't mind swinging a leg over one of those.

And Varmint, those look easier to tuck in on than some of the other abortions tooling around on the road these days (cough)V-ROD(/cough).

I need another pic to understand how the rear wheel is moving up and down.

Edit: the pivot is at the trailing edge of the cf fairing?

Kodewa has been granted a license to produce the motorcycle by Group Lotus plc.........

The C-01 motorcycle is not designed, engineered or produced by Group Lotus plc ............
I was wondering what was going on, Lotus (the car company) is on pause until they can get their financing sorted out.

Holy $hit! Look at those shiny, WD-40'd tires! I predict trouble almost immediately.

Looks like it would lumber thru the canyons. Stretched wheelbase or is this HD (not that HD but as in wide-screen).
