Something for the Reloaders

A new brass tumbler. Cheap, easy, and effective. As long as your wife or significant other is running her ass off (maybe literally...), you might as well get something out of it too.

If you look on Craigslist, you will often times find people giving treadmills away. They are easy to disassemble and you will have a variable speed motor for really anything you might want to build. I recently picked one up with a 2hp motor. I disassembled it and will be adding it to my knife grinder so that my knife grinder will be variable speed. I plan on cutting the control panel off right where you would hold on to the rail. I plan on securing the panel to my work bench with conduit straps / saddles. Will have to come up with another treadmill now for my brass!

That "jar on a treadmill" trick is getting my mental gears going about other possible combination function ideas....

I wonder if my wife has anything I could use to improvise a vibratory tumbler?
