Beard or Moosetash...yea or nay?

Shaver thread made me curious....

Haven't seen my chinny chin chin in over 30 years...it hides a most beautimous scar from a swan dive off I took from my ten speed back in college...the sidewalk won

Mustache for 45 years....shaved it off once.....wifey was pissed!

I grew my mustache in the summer 1973. I remember Spiro Agnew was still VP and I was a stringer for Time magazine to photograph his speech in Montgomery Alabama. I cut my lip real bad shaving getting ready to go to the speech. The secret service guys take all the camera gear out of the case and look through each lens and inspect the camera case and give it a sticker. I had my finger on my lip with a tissue trying to stop the bleeding. That was the last time a razor touched my lip.

I grew a beard a few months later. So 40 years of fuzzy face.

I'm sporting the full facial "I'm too lazy to shave" stubble that I hit every few days with a clipper. I'm trying to compensate for the hair that is no longer on my head.

I've been rocking a beard non stop for the last 3 years or so. Have had one most of the time since I've been able to grow one.

I've had a moose stash for @44 yrs now. It's been off once in that time.
Wife hates it, says it makes me look old. It's all grey now, so I guess it does, but, I am old so it fits. I wonder if she hates it cause I'm always getting comments from other women about how good it looks?

My face is hairy for the same reason; no hair on my head. I'm still in the Reserves, so I shave once a month. The head, I shave daily.

I haven't gone shiny yet, there's still enough consistent stubble on top that a weekly buzz with the Wahl razor evens it out. Once it gets patchy I may break out the razor and shaving cream.

I have had a mustache since about 1972. My daughter's fiancee who is 24 and wears the full stubble look for a week and then trims it, manages a pub/bar for his dad. He says that when he is behind the bar he gets more respect from the customers. If a person is clean shaven then the patron is less afraid of the bartender and more likely to stiff the bartender for drinks.....G

I still have a full head of hair, but it's starting to have wisps of grey (that doesn't bother me).

What bothers me is my fully gray beard and mustach if I grow it out (so I don't).

Goatee for the past 15+ years. Shaved it off once and the chicks at the office where I was working told me to grow it back. Easy decision there.

In 1999 I grew a goatee. In 2009 I let the sides fill in. Sometime I have dreams about shaving it all off (mostly by accident). It's not very thick and I have a thin face, so I wonder if anyone would notice.
