What's your weekday morning regimen?

What time do you rise?
Do you exercise?
What do you eat?
Do you check work emails?
What time do you leave for work?

I am up by 7am
If I exercise, it will be at night
Oatmeal and veggie sausages from Trader Joe's
I have to do work emails or I'd get buried
When I have to travel, I am out the door by 9am

I'd like to incorporate morning exercise but I'd probably have to get up at 5:30.

I get up at 5.
Shower and ready to go by 6. (too much traffic if I wait any longer)
Get to my desk around 6:30 and usually have oatmeal/bagel etc while I go through emails
Exercise in the evening except Friday and Sunday when I have indoor soccer.

Rinse and repeat

I am jealous of men. To get beautified, it takes me an extra hour. When I can work from home, in my jammies or whatever else I feel like working in, it takes all that prep time away. My long mane takes at least 15 minutes to dry, WITH a blow dryer.

Woke up, fell out of bed
Dragged a comb across my head...

0530 get'em up, both my wife and I.

We alternate days on who gets the coffee.

TV on: Weather, sports, Imus. Massage the iPad for overnight email, calendar changes then internet surf-ex: up and running by 0630. Walk the farm with the dogs, take care of horses and other critters. Generally walk two miles weather dependent. I ride the stationary bike if the weather sux.

Out the door by 0745/0800, in my office by 0815. If I work from home, the story remains the same except for my "commute".

I love mornings.

I do travel more than I'd like. Woke up in Newark, NJ yesterday at a Courtyard Marriott adjacent to Newark Airport, took the train to NYC.

I don't know how people live in cities.

Wake up between 3:30 and 4, turn off alarm before it goes off. Watch 20 minutes of local news/ fox news.
Take a shower, out the door by 5.
Stop at donut shop for large coffee (black).
Get to work at 5:45.
Check voice mails, check e-mails, check overnight shift reports, gather all new info since previous shift. Check daily schedule, ammend and modify as necessary. Prepare morning safety meeting matl.
Hourly reports start at 7. Give safety meeting, share info, pass out job assignments and instruct on expecations.
7:15 barely get to daily operations staff meeting.

After that it gets a bit boring and repetitious until 5:30 when I leave to go home (on a good day).

No food except coffee until around 10:00 when I start nibbling on my lunch/dinner.

Note that I didn't put AM or PM.
It varies. Sometimes I work day shift, sometimes night shift.

Damn, I can barely drag my ass out of bed at 7:15, but then I have little kids waking me up all night and a wife who snores like a freight train.

Similar to herr-o

Up 4:45
Shower, dress, put on the rain gear, shove some food in the backpack
Out the door 5:15
Short easy ride, at work and stripping off the rain gear by 5:30
Breakfast and lunch at desk
Leave anywhere from 1:00 to 6:00, usually 3:00-ish
Ride harder on the way home
Sometimes I stop at the pub for a beer, sometimes I go home and take a nap, sometimes my wife catches me and makes me work

We need an hour of beauty time too. Per month.

Up at 5:10, take a shower and other bathroom activities. I usually have breakfast cereal with milk, but sometimes will fix toast or have a danish. I throw a few logs in the woodburner (if Winter), and am out the door by 6:00 or 6:15 to be at work around 6:30. I check emails at work, usually I travel to our other plant to pick up parts for my prototype lab, and are coming home at 3:00

Get up at 6:30. Try not to fall asleep in the shower. Brush teeth, brush hair, deodorize, dress, and off to work by 7:00.

Crank up the pute. Pour coffee. Feed cat.
