Um. This makes me feel old.
I get that Jagger is an old man, the Stones are a '60s band. They were a thing before I was out of short pants. But the Ramones! Man, that is a '70s band. A mid '70s band. A band of my college years. Eff. |

I always say once you reach 60 - all bets are off! Tomorrow is promised to no one.

I was introduced to the Ramones when I was 17 or 18.
Rock and Roll High School was playing at the local alternative film theater. Fun times that seem like a long time ago. Shocking that all of them are gone.

Sad and makes us that remember all feel older and mortal. Back in H.S. I was asked to DJ a dance. I agreed conditionally. Put it up to a student body vote that we would only play punk or then what came to be know as "new wave" - but not Top 40 pablum. Me and the two friends that co-DJ'ed dressed up like the Ramones and tried to spreed the word. Arguably there would be no Sex Pistols and that whole brit punk scene without the influence of the boys from Queens. Sela - Beat On The Brat!! (with a baseball bat ; ) )
