Bought myself a Mustang.

I almost skipped seeing this car. I assumed the high mileage and low price meant it was a beater. Very pleased I made the trip. The owner was a younger IT guy, very fastidious, deep technical knowledge about the car. He's been using it as a commuter, and ran up the mileage. Only selling because he picked up a 2010 GT to replace it.

2002 GT. 175,000 miles(). Original paint. A few scrapes and dings, a bit of rust bubbling up inside the wheel arches, but looks great at 10ft, the photos don't lie. Wheels are not curb rashed. All body seams line up, all of the 'patina' on the under body and suspension looks uniform, I don't think its ever been hit. Drives, brakes straight, engine pulls strong.

Steeda short throw shifter, Steeda sport springs, Jegs OR-H pipe. New tires, new clutch (receipt in hand), new MAF, new Accel coil packs, MAC mufflers. Sounds fantastic, pulls like a train.

$4200. Picking it up tomorrow.

Its no 911S, but it does look nice.

Buy a spare set of coil packs for when they fail.

No, 4.6. I wanted an inexpensive American V8. Something that would usable as a daily driver if needed, and cheap to upgrade. Its all a matter of taste, but I like the look of these cars. Love the wheels.

The exhaust note is great.

Amen to that! I think the modern OHC Mustang GT has one of the best exhaust notes short of a Ferrari.

Well the dream would be to put a Kenne Bell supercharger on it. But I need to get to know the car first. Car runs great, but 175k is nothing to sniff at. Bottom end might need a refresh first. Ah, the joy of getting to know a new love....and what that love is going to cost you in blood and treasure.

This is the best purchase I've seen shared on here since I've joined...CONGRATS!

Great looking clean car for $4200! You can have a serious piece for under $10k total investment.

Great buy...I'm jelly
