Well, she's 49 and I agree with you that her pictures look different from the pictures of her in her '20s. So, we've got that in common!

jyl 09-03-2014 08:15 AM

I agree w/ all of you. She is not 110 lb, but she looks great regardless.

yel911 09-03-2014 08:22 AM

Imagine what she'd think of us??? Opinions are like A-holes, we all have'em. She's always been a smoke show. I just hate country music.

Just for fun, can you elaborate on what that means? I'm curious.

A930Rocket 09-03-2014 08:32 AM

I'd hit it. Twice!

Good question. I get some indication of the female perspective with Tweezer's comment
"wow". I think that this forum sheds women like a snake sheds its skin. Readily. Too bad......G.

From the Urban Dictionary:
A word used to describe a sereously hot girl (must not be overused and abused
on medeocarly hot woman!)

Well, we are talking here about a professional entertainer. The standards for someone who wears a tight leotard on stage and makes millions from her looks are necessarily different. Goes with the territory and with the paycheck.

Aww, horsecrap. Just because she sings for a living doesn't give you guys a license to judge her more harshly than any other female. In fact, judging her for her looks is pretty stupid, regardless. You might have an opinion of her musical ability, which might even carry some weight if you had some training in that area, but the rest of her life is irrelevant to you. Celebrities don't "deserve" the unwanted attention and criticism they receive.

Thinking otherwise isn't very smart. It doesn't say much about you that I'd be proud of...

JR

PS... This is intended to be a reply to jyl (and Motion, et al), not recycledsixtie, but this lousy software and my equally lousy iPhone conspire to screw up my quotes...

motion 09-03-2014 08:53 AM

Dude, she can get porky all she wants. I could really care less and wouldn't think any less of her. I just made the comment that she is porking up a bit.

yel911 09-03-2014 09:00 AM

I'm just saying, I'd share my Cheetos with her.:D

Is that a euphemism?

targa911S 09-03-2014 09:17 AM

actually I forgot about her.......

herr_oberst 09-03-2014 09:17 AM

I like my country music more "Folky" than "Country", and I like my Folky music a little more Gillian than Lucinda.

But, if I am in the mood for Cryin/Sighin'/Dyin' then it's gotta be irreverent or funny or both.

Never been much of a Shania fan, one way or t'other.

You know, I read the critical comments on this thread and conclude that indeed, we men are pigs.

I am surprised that ANY woman would grace us with their favours when they consider our attitudes towards their appearance.

+1 on this. Two things I don't talk about women are weight and age.
G.
