Rats, I was going to call dibs on it before hand transport got involved!

petrolhead611 11-10-2014 04:56 AM

Do you have a European export department?

He has it on his knee!

BRPORSCHE 11-15-2014 08:44 AM

Got it in the mail yesterday and took it for a spin! Got a few compliments on it already.

Thanks a lot Mike! SmileWavy. Even though you work for the competition...;)

M.D. Holloway 11-15-2014 06:01 PM

Tom, who you with Polaris? Do you know the story about the association between the two?

BRPORSCHE 11-15-2014 06:46 PM

Beer #2! Green flash IPA. The amount of comments I get on this thing is hilarious. Work for a huge oil and gas service company that is nicknamed 'big red'. I have a few buddies that work for Empirica.

M.D. Holloway 11-15-2014 08:56 PM

Not the competition in fact we probably test your top drive gear and compressor oils...

M.D. Holloway 11-15-2014 08:59 PM

Oh ya, the comments are great! I like to drink beer from the bottle so when the server sees my coaster they want to pour a glass but I just smile and take the bottle and hand them the glass back. I had one say "but your so sophisticated! Why drink from a bottle and use a private coaster? To wit I replied "because my dear, we must never forget where we came from...or where we are going."

I could have had sex with her...I think.

Hi Mike, Thanks, just received the coaster and am enjoying a nice cold Canadian pint on it before I introduce it to the neighborhood.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1416445701.jpg

craigster59 11-19-2014 07:14 PM

How in the heck do you Canadians drink so much beer when it doesn't even flow out of the glass when you tilt it? That or it must be friggen freezing up there!

frosty2 11-20-2014 06:31 AM

Craigster this time of year we drink them with a spoon however in the summer they flow just fine.
And by the way that picture was right side up when I attached it...

Scooter 11-28-2014 10:55 AM

Thanks for the coaster Mike!

I hope it is not sacrilege to use the coaster for a non-adult beverage.

Lubey...how about a coaster for Kansas City? Would be the hot topic with my buddies around holiday ales!!

JA

M.D. Holloway 11-28-2014 12:34 PM

You got it! PM me your shipping address...

Bill Douglas 12-04-2014 07:04 PM

Got the coaster thanks MD :D

Hugh to post pic a bit later. He is flying to Brisbane right now.

Hugh R 12-05-2014 02:53 AM

breakfast with Bill Douglas

Met Bill and his charming niece, Peta, coasters came in handy. Bill ran me around in his 911 and showed some of Wellington before dropping me off at the airport for my 3-1/2 hour flight to Brisbane.

Unfortunately won't see Fishcop in Brisbane this trip. But going to a Cars and Coffee thing with some AU Porsche guys in the morning.

I'm on the left.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1417776677.jpg

Rot 911 12-05-2014 08:22 AM

Damn, that's my kind of breakfast!

herr_oberst 12-05-2014 08:30 AM

• Great photo!

• I'm thinking two coasters worn on the head could definitely resemble Mouser Ears®

• I'm a fan of Peta's smile.

• Mmmmm! Eggs benedict!

Hugh R 12-05-2014 09:14 AM

Peta asked about working on our production, Pete's Dragon, she's worked as a Production Assistant (PA) in the past, so I passed her contact info on to the show.

Jandrews 12-05-2014 04:31 PM

Got my coaster...thanks MD!

I didn't realize ALS Global was so big and has a location right here in Kansas City!

Thanks again,

JA

A big thanks for that Hugh.

It was fun meeting you and driving around. You will be looking forward to getting back home and just stopping for a while. All that go go go would have tired me out big time.

Hugh R 12-05-2014 06:17 PM

Bill,

As i shared with you, I've been on seven plane flights in six days. Plus days on tour buses looking at filming locations. Got to my hotels in Brisbane at 8:30PM last night and got picked up by a local pcar guy for Cars and Coffee 50 miles away at 6:30 AM. Got three work phone calls in the middle of the night (10 or 11AM Los Angeles time). It' s about Noon here, I think I'll take a nap, it's Saturday here.

Racerbvd 12-05-2014 06:21 PM
