Occasional poster, very long time lurker, but I think I could get into this 'coaster' thing. So, if you would send one to N. VA, I would proudly use and post it's usage.

Thanks in advance.

I had one say "but your so sophisticated! Why drink from a bottle and use a private coaster? To wit I replied "because my dear, we must never forget where we came from...or where we are going."

I could have had sex with her...I think.

Great post and even greater thread!

Every day is a philosophical experience....well that's what I keep telling myself. ;)

Baz,
The philosophy of Coasting is developing. Its basic tenants are founded on:
1) slowing down, appreciate the small, finer things in life; beer, food, song, good company or just reflective solitude.
2) not forgetting the past, living in the moment with an eye to dream for the future.
3) give to give, not give to get

That's Coasting...

OK you...and you know who you are...time to post a pic with your Coaster!

We've just had a major storm come through. It hasn't rained for three months until today - which made up for the previous three months. And the good news is the coaster is fine. I used it with a few beers and it performed flawlessly.

Whaddaya say? Any chance I can score a coaster? I've got a work/life balance problem and a coaster could be part of the solution.

Long time member, but I usually don't say anything unless I think I have something good to add... Or if I have a new/old radio.

Today was coaster day. I cycled 47 miles in the "Worst Day Of The Year" ride, and I decided to bring the coaster along, because this thread needs some re-vitalizin!

It was my opinion that two of the rest stops were definitely coaster photo-worthy: McMenamans at Cornelius Road offered Tater Tots (that's a first!) and there was (delicious!) chili at the finish line:

Thanks again, Mike!
