what to do with mail?

Friend has a new job where he travels every week from Monday to Thursday and is worried about mail piling up in his mailbox. Aside from stopping the mail every week or getting a PO Box, does the USPS offer anything he can do? He thought about just getting a big a$$ mailbox that has a flapper slot with a key lock on it. Any other ideas?

Have them hold the mail for him to pick up every Friday.

Can't he put an ongoing hold on it and then go pick it up on Fridays?

is he stuck with curbside mailboxes?

my mom's neighborhood is a mixed bag. some have a box, others have a slot in the door. my mom just lets it pile up in her home.

Stopping and starting mail delivery can be done online. He can choose to have accumulated mail delivered or he can pick it up at the station. I think he can plan it out fairly far in advance, i.e., select start and stop dates as needed. If he needs to cancel any particular week, just go to he website and do so.

How about have the re-start dates on Saturdays? That way if it's a large amount he'll be home for the delivery.

On a lighter note Elvis Presley's song Return to sender comes to mind.....
I think the 1950's before most of your time. I miss him.
