Own a ferrari 308 for $ 100

I wasn't sure where to post this, so i thought "off topic" was the right place.

OWN A FERRARI 308 FOR $ 100

Louisville Girls Catholic High School in Woodland Hills, California, through the generosity of the Estate of William A. Schampeau,
is pleased to present this 1983 Ferrari 308GTSi Quattrovalvole.

In order to fund the scholarship fund in his name, Louisville High School will be raffling off this beautiful car to be held Saturday, November 8th 2014 at the Louisville High School Annual Fund raiser event, "QUEST", at The Four Seasons in Westlake Village.

I know this car personally and it shows and drives as good as it looks.
With 49,xxx miles on the odometer, the car recently underwent a $ 11,000+ service and mild restoration that included the all important cam belts, major tune, brakes as well as an interior and exterior detail. The paint is near perfect and the interior is outstanding.
The wheels are immaculate, and while the tires are of an older generation, they show no wear or cracking.

Only 750 tickets will be sold for $ 100.00 each. Proceeds from the raffle will fund the annual scholarship to benefit students.

A recent appraisal valued the car at $ 42,000, subsequently this is what the value of the prize will be. Winner will be responsible for all taxes , transfer fees and transportation costs.

This is a unique opportunity to help benefit the education of many young women for many years to come.

I like it.
So clean.

I'm gonna need a thicker 'stash, though.

Looks beautiful. I've always liked the looks of the 308. Good luck with the raffle.

I can afford to buy that Ferrari, but not to own it.

Louisville was the sister school to my high school, though.

Purty... good luck with the fund raiser.

However, your thread title should've been...

Own a raffle ticket for a 1/750th CHANCE to win a ferrari 308 for $ 100

Doesn't have quite the ring to it, but it is more accurate.

For one lucky individual, and perhaps someone who saw it in this thread, the title will be entirely accurate, up and until "all taxes , transfer fees and transportation costs"

Interesting premise... wonder why more people don't do this just to sell their car. Say this was a private owner trying to offload his 308, if they sell all 750 tickets they will have raised $75,000. The Ferrari owner get's $50,000 ($8k over appraisal) and the school gets $25,000 for putting on a raffle.
