What really happened there? Looks like the driver had a little fender bender unless he had a stroke while driving and they had mistaken him for drunk driving? Bad deal all the way around. I am not sure how mace works, but to spray that much on him while he already isn't moving is BS? From what I understand, a drop or two near the eyes will put a person on the ground?

Fair enough on the suspended license but hit and run and reckless driving?

I was in the car with my father when he had a stroke behind the wheel.

That no one died was only slightly less amazing than how far one can travel at speed with an incapacitated driver before a solid object stops you.

I was wondering the same thing. No one chooses when they are going to have a stroke. How was he to know it would happen while he was driving. Same with the hit and run. It wasn't like he knowingly hit another car and then continued to drive away. That's BS.

Mistakes happen but there seems to be a heightened level of paranoia among the folks in blue, and I can understand why but really, rein it in a little.
I have a lot of cop friends and they have been telling me there is a lot of tension on both sides, even in the very rural area that I live in
