Sorry for the large picture, but I don't know how to make it smaller. I can post it really small or really big, but not in between.

This is my DD if there is no snow, if there is snow the F350 in the background becomes my primary mode of transportation.
1992 5.0 Mustang with 135,xxx miles on it. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1416785753.jpg |

i picked up a 2002 Mercedes C230 Kompressor coupe that needed lots of little things done to it for a very, very cheap price. I have the iCarsoft Mercedes computer for diagnosing all of the things on it. I just fixed the panoramic sunroof, replaced the LCD in the instrument cluster, changed every filter and fluid on the car...pulled the entire interior and steam cleaned it (years of desert dust in there) and rebuilt the entire suspension with bilstein sport (front and rear). I still have the fiat, but have been driving this for the last few weeks. it's actually a blast.

2009 Mazda5 GT. See the sliding door? If Mazda had made that open like a regular car door, they would have sold these by the boat load. Since it's a "mini minivan", people didn't know what to make of it and they really didn't sell well. That's ok, by me. I can drive for days without seeing another one. Could use a few more HP, but unless it's climbing a mountain, it's really fine. 2x2x2 seating is great for daily use. Can haul 6 people or a lot of stuff. I've brought home a 17 cubic ft. freezer, a love seat, an oversized recliner, all with the rear door closed. GT= HID headlights, LED taillights, heated leather seats, auto headlights & wipers, etc.
Really love the practicality of this vehicle (30 highway, 25 city), but this is my second one, and after 125K miles I'm ready for something different. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1416813126.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1416813145.jpg |
Lee, I second the Mazda5. We really like our '13 Grand Touring, especially the sliding rear doors. Makes entry and exit a breeze for our kids. My wife is thinking she might eventually like something bigger, but we can't find anything that is equally practical yet still fun to drive.

My daily driver, less than 500 left in the US. Never let me down and still plenty fast.

I drive 75 miles round trip M-F, so I try to swap out DDs.
The two work horses which get 1 - 2 days each per week: '72 914 1.7l http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1416834839.jpg '69 912 http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1416834981.jpg Then if the weathers nice, I will mix in some of the others. Try to get at least one day a week to keep the juices flowing and battery charged. |
Audi A3 S-line Quattro. With Michelin Pilot Super Sports in the summer and Nokian Hakkapeliittas R2s in the winter, it's a fun and practical car. When something larger is required, my wife drives a Volvo XC-70, which is also great in the snow, but not much fun to drive!
