What is your daily driver???

Hi All. I am looking for a new daily driver. Torn between soo many vehicles. Looking for something decent on fuel, 4x4 (canadian winters!), not too big. Just curious to see what other P-car enthusiasts are spending their time in while their pride and joy sits at home.

This is my DD.

It does OK in snow but it is not a snow beater. It fits my needs perfectly. I have owned it for 23 years and it ha 332,000 miles now.

Jeep Grand Cherokee. Crappy MPG (16mpg no matter what) but it is a Jeep that will climb every mountain and ford every stream. Comfortable on and off the road. I have had a Quadra-Trac (permanent 4wd) GC in the past and didn't see a difference in gas mileage or ride comfort. Get a good package like the Limited with all the options.

Although not great on gas am just loving the comfort, smooth ride of my 2011 RX 350.(had it 2 months).
A Lexus and a 2001 Toyota Camry in the garage. Turn the key and go!
Guy.

911 or sequioa depending on mood or weather... don't generally drive 911 in the rain, and well, I live in GA so not generally in the snow either....

Matter of fact, winter becomes great time to drive it since its not so bloody hot; Now, as a kid lived up in Moorhead MN (Fargo ND) and my father's DD was a 68 912....

I am without a Porsche for the time being, but this is the daily driver. Can't say it is really good on gas at 15-18 mpg, but it has been extremely reliable, and is relatively comfortable. I can't see not owning a Tacoma at this point.

My wife and I share the Suquinox (AWD) and the Honda Odyssey(minivan) now that I am home.

Boring vehicles for sure but they get the job done.

"Canadian winters" covers a lot of ground.
Are we talking Vancouver Island, a bit of wet snow from time to time, or maybe the Rockies, "we're not gonna move until Spring,"
Prairies, "Yes, but it's a dry cold"
Southern Ontario, "Toronto paralyzed by 6 inches of snow"
or Newfoundland, "Another storm missed Nova Scotia and dumped on us!"

Where do you drive? Do you have to be on the roads whatever may come or can you choose your time to drive.

Four good snow tires on whatever vehicle has a reasonable amount of ground clearance will get you through most conditions.
Subaru with four Blizzaks will do for everything but the deep stuff.
Best
Les

PS Jake: Tell me that shot was taken last winter!

2001 AWD Highlander limited with 188K miles on it. Other than wheel bearings (I just put the 3rd set of rear ones in last week) it's been very reliable. Can get around 24MPG on the highway 18 or so around town.

Yep, early december last year. We got a few inches last night though, so the kids wanted to do donuts in a parking lot before I dropped them off at daycare
