I think Hap-hazard is also a word that comes in handy. "That whole project was done in a very Hap-hazard fashion!"

Willy Nilly "You just don't go Willy Nilly....with no plan in place!"

Or another one.....Chaos. "That was pure Chaos!"

Few words have as much meaning and as many uses as Dude.

Throw in a "like" and you've just about covered most conversations.

Perfidiousness.... As in that dude reeks of perfidiousness! Let's cross the street.

Also once had a Harley type dude say to me while I was riding my Norton in Daytona during bike week (right outside Boot Hill Saloon) "righteous ride Bro". Now I use it all the time.

He coulda summed it all up and just said while nodding his head,... dude ....!

Back when I was in my early 20's a few of my friends and I took off on a road trip to the colorado river.
We didn't pack much: just swimming suits, towls, and a couple cases of beer.

We'd been there for about 4 hours and ran out of beer.

A Buddy who liked smoking weed said ... and I quote:
Quote:
"Dude, I wish I had another beer.
But then again if I had everything I wanted, ................................ F****ing A!"
Prophetic.

Another one of his memorable quotes, he left this one on an answering machine:

Quote:
"dude.
Guess you ain't home. Uuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhh...........
Don't take any wooden nickles and stay away from them pink pickles."
So much for legalizing mar-ju-wanna.

It tells me a lot about the person when they use the word to discuss a frozen item.

Or the expression "I could care less" (Not directed to your post, though it seems so)

gotta loathe anything that could be a marketing or administrative buzz word...and almost anything that seems dramatic enough has been or will become one.

^^Truer words were never spoken. Next month will mark 5 yrs. that I have been partners with my wife in her business, after 30 yrs. in the corporate world. I'll never have to participate in, or listen to corp-speak ever again.

I was lucky to escape after only 10 years.

I took with me some great business philosophies which have served me very well.

I'm still surrounded with pinheads....the difference is now I don't have to work with any of them.

I like the British use of the word patina especially regarding old British cars. However the juxtaposition of an American or Canadian saying saying dude your car has patina does not ring true.
