Me, too lol. For all my friends it was Testarossas, F40s and the Countach. I was the oddball that had a slantnose 930 poster.

Considering the classic car market this one might actually make sense. 1989 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary. (Mileage: 28,420) Yours for $369,888.00 USD

Not to distract from this thread about the Countach, but I am really enjoying his other videos too!!! Harry seems like a true car guy and someone I would very much enjoy talking to. I like his overview of his 1987 Testarossa:

^^^ That's a good video Jeff. -------------------------- Just a thought. When we were young we were full of dreams. This thread has reminded me of how I felt. Dreams spark you up and get your moving and keep you motivated. Even if you never own a Countach, the "stretch" is worthwhile.

I like how honest he is in his assessment of the Lambo. Interesting when contrasted agains this guys assessment of the reliability of his Ferrari and ease of maintenance (3:57 on this video) To his point about that era of car, I guess this is why I like my primitive 73 911. How difficult is it to maintain a car that has wind up windows in place of computer controlled gadgets?

That makes early exotic super cars like the ones in the videos seem down right easy on the budget to maintain

Who can forget the Black Countach and it's occupants in the original "Cannonball"? Opening scenes video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HtMvkA84s4Y&list=PL4ZfMI_YmwipcGoWY-De9YsR9MmiuRie6&index=3

I must have been the strange one in my class. I had fighters, an E30 M3 and a Lancia Stratos for posters.

If I were to indulge in a car fantasy, I'd say Lamborghini Miura or an '84 Ferrari GTO would be my top choices. I'd definitely want the GTO over any other Ferrari.

An ex g/f of mine was Italian and she said that Countach roughly translates to "Holy Cow!"
