OK, I'm finally willing to admit it. Marchand is in deep and can't help himself.

Can't stop scoring goals! Up to 30 this season. He needs help bad. :D

I knew I would get a rise out of you two. So, what about the Eastern Conference standings?! Almost ANYONE with a hot or cold streak can go from first to the cellar in two weeks time. Its still February and we're playing playoff hockey.

BTW, a good game coming up tonight: Bruins / Penguins: the two teams in the Wild Card slots du jour. B's have two points but the Pens have two games in hand. Hopefully both teams show up and we'll have a good game (with the B's taking the two points of course SmileWavy )

I'm still buzzin' over the Devils putting down the Rangers 5-2.

Yes indeed , some intense playing all around right now but the Caps look waay good. They are at +60 right now! If it keeps up I'm kinda hoping the curse of the Presidents trophy bites them.

Nice Bruins win over Cindy et al tonight!

Nice win. The Rangers have all the pieces they need but can't put the puzzle together.
The Caps look strong this year with most pts and a Goal Differential of +60 :eek:. Maybe Trots can help them break the post season yips. FL has fallen apart lately.

This guy is such a train wreck. I can't believe they let him play. 32 goals this year.
Do you think he will hit 45 (20 games left)?

Funny thing, all the TV commentators (FoxSports, NBCSN, NBC, NHL Live) all say the same thing: everyone hates Marchand but would love him if he was on their team. I guess they are also "Bruins Apologists". :D

As you may have heard in the media, the independent arbitrator ruled that the suspension to Wideman be reduced to 10 games.... The only thing I was wrong about was that it would take 19 of the original 20 game suspension before this decision was handed down... Lol NHL...
Kept the Flames from moving him before the trade deadline. Wonder who will pick up the tab on those 9 games that Wideman wasn't available to the Flames?

Even if he gets 1/2 his money back, it cost him: time off ice = rust. Team not happy with him...
I think he deserved more than 10 and figured the arbitrator would cave to 15.

The first one was just stupidity. Last night's was not considered intentional by the league. It was borderline and because of his reputation everyone assumes it was on purpose.
