Fantastic.

I couldn't resist making the analogy of correcting a bumper car into its original long hood version.

Very, very nice.

My skill set begins and ends at "hammer time". After that, imagine a tile setting boar without plumbing skills and that's me.

A lot of thought went into what you did, and it shows.

Bravo.

Good stuff! I'm doing my bathroom right now, with the help of my contractors though. :-)

I'm digging the tub.
I'm going modern with mine. Thanks for sharing!

For anyone that is curious, I added up all the receipts for this project..... $9524.33. But that does include a new water softener and some tools (tile saw, Dremel MultiMax, etc.).

Looks darn nice...

One question... how'd you trap the tub? Claw/slipper tubs don't leave room to expose a typical "P" trap. You do a drum trap in the floor?

P-trap below the floor. Leak tested it then sprayed joints liberally with that spray on rubber coating.

Wish I could find some of those. Have these in two of the bedrooms.

Not sure why it flips this picture sideways???

Thanks for the link Peppy. Ordered some new switches and covers this morning.

Only kid is 21, so no.

With the head provided by the high tank, it flushes quite thoroughly with surprisingly little water.

Nice work. I did something similar but went with a giant 2 people / 2 heads shower... I can no longer stand taking a shower in a bathtub with a shower curtain !! No more bathtub in the house, except for a jacuzzi ;-)
