Well he's not walking with a cane but rather a golf club and I've tried to spot the infraction. Where does the vid show him swinging the club at the officer?

When a cop asks you to put your golf club down. Put it down. At one point he walks off frame without using the golf club as a cane, so it's not like he was going to fall over if he had dropped it. I just don't understand people.

Wow. Who cares if he "swung a club" (which I didn't see), he doesn't deserve this.

There is nothing illegal or suspicious about walking around with a golf club.

He did nothing wrong.

They are no longer there to protect or serve, EXCEPT themselves.

Let's say he did swing the club. He's on the sidewalk. She's 25 feet away. In a car. Cops are supposedly hired for their ability to use good judgement. Don't see that here.

I agree. But in this case she didn't use good judgement in the first place during that encounter. How's he going to do any damage to her either with or without a golf club? Really dumb and really over reach.

It all depends. In this case she was not using good judgement so I don't have a problem with the guy refusing. But there are other times it is very reasonable to expect a person to do what the cop says because his life could be in danger. I can see that scenario happening a LOT! It's not about giving up a freedom - it's about working with those who are trying to help our communities.

Absolutely. I will heartily agree that there appeared to be little to no reason for her to stop to talk to him.

And if he had done that, none of this probably would have happened.
