You, With The Revoked Man Card

Some of us, and you know who you are, have lost your man card, due to your unfathomable tastes in ballet, murses, body grooming, and chick movies.

As a first step back to full card carrying manhood, start carrying a Leatherman type tool everywhere. When you repair a Cessna in the air, dismantle a ticking bomb, or rebuild a Land Rover carburetor deep in the outback, you might earn back a probationary man card.

But, wait, TSA keeps taking away your Leatherman tool? Or said tools make unsightly bulges in your skinny jeans? Woe is you. But here is the answer.

How Leatherman Made That Amazing Multi-Tool You Wear on Your Wrist | WIRED

A mix and match set of tools in the form of watch band links. No airport confiscation, no lumps on your sweet hairless thighs.

I want.

Repost, but pretty cool. I think what I read said the bracelet is coming first at $200, and then there will be a watch that will be $300 it was that $400?

So you lose your man card for doing what you consider effeminate things, then you offer it back for wearing man jewelry? Hypothetically useful jewelry, but still a man bracelet. What's it called? The Leatherman Irony?

Post 9-11, I still carried a 6 way screwdriver with me. In fact, I used it to open a bottle of wine for a stewardess who now was not allowed to have a corkscrew.

I have the regular Leatherman tool, and the unsightly bulge in my jeans isn't caused by that, thank you.

I am an avowed 'gadget boy' and I LOVE this thing!

However... I don't feel the need to carry a multi-tool on my person 24/7 (disclaimer, I carry one on my belt at work and have one in the glove box of each of my cars).

That and you can buy a regular multi-tool for about half the price.

Still, I think it is a very cool design and nice bit of engineering.

It's cool and if you have to wear a bracelet then this is it.

But honestly I think "WE" spend to much time thinking about what it is to be a man.
Just be yourself. Who cares what other people think?
