Well, what are the options for Kim? A) she dies (most likely), B) she kills Lalo and goes into hiding to escape the cartel, C) ??
It's tricky for the writers because there is never any reference in BB that I recall that Saul lost a wife or had even been married. |
Mike will show up and all hell will break loose. Lalo seems destined to die. Kim too or best case scenario disappears into hiding. Ymmv.

POSSIBLE SPOILERS BELOW.

But I should have based on earlier episodes. I hate having to watch this week to week rather than binge it. But it is too good to wait. |
An explanation of a big aspect of BCS

I just have to say this: squat cobbler.

A reminder that the second half of the season starts back up tonight.....
|
Predictions? No harm in getting them wrong.
1. Lalo doesn't survive tonight. 2. Mike or a heretofore obscure/unknown/surprise takes him out. 3. Pinkman shows up. |

Both Jessie and Walter are in the last 6 episodes. But they are not working together. I expect Jessie is in for some juvenile issue. Not sure how Walter mixes in, since he is not supposed to know about Saul in Breaking Bad. |
Thanks for the reminder! Would've missed it otherwise.

Yeah!

I think Kim gets afraid of Lalo and decides to disappear. They use that Robert Forester character that owned the vacuum store in BB to get new identities. For one reason or another, Jimmy doesn't go along. Maybe to make Kim's disappearance easier. Maybe he just started doing too well with his law career resurgence. But I don't think they kill off Kim -that's too tricky to write in a way that would be palatable to a majority of the audience. I think she voluntarily disappears. It's got to be her decision.
I still have the last two episode of the first half of season 6 to watch, so I might be off base and for all I know she's dead. |

That was awesome! :)

Could somebody give me an idea of exactly what transpired in "The Great Gus vs. Lalo Shootout in the Dark?"
If all you know is the results, I've got that. I'd like to know the blow by blow. I was watching in a dark room 3 feet from a 40" Samsung perfectly adjusted for contrast, etc. |

What happened next was indeed so fast it was hard to actually see what happened, I agree. Apparently, the Chicken Man kicked the cord connector and the lights went out all while lunging at the gun he had stashed. He then fired said gun in the direction of Lalo and looked like one round caught him in the neck. All I could think about was how much opportunity Lalo had to blown Fring's head off and didn't because (in the words of Tuco) "When you have to shoot, shoot. Don't talk." :D |

So we've now got 2 bodies buried below the lab floor. Will there be more? Will Kim wind up under the floor slab? Great episode last night.
|
If Kim dies, that will be pretty dissatisfying. If Kim contributes to Jimmy getting “made” in Omaha, that could lead to a fitting final crater for the show.
|
So do you think that Jimmy actually expected Kim to follow Lalo's orders? I was thinking he was just trying to get her out of the condo - sacrificing himself to be killed by Lalo.
