Isn't downforce one of the problems with F1 today? Why increase it? Shouldn't the FIA be doing the opposite?

I think F1 is too aero dominated. All that aero is not really transferable to production cars, and creates issues with passing.
Active suspension is something that would be transferrable to production cars, and kind of a new frontier since F1 hasn't had active suspension since the 1980s. |
