Devin, all kidding aside about lunch a hooters (great wings, good pilsner)... I get what you're talking about. Although you hadn't closed the transaction, you were in line for it and someone from behind outbid you. That does suck but it happens all the time. Normally the person bidding from behind you is smart enough to do it through PM rather than in public... this lets the seller clear a bit more profit and save face for both involved in the transaction.

Lapkritis - Love that commercial...it's hilarious. And thanks for the comment. If you ever get down to the Boston, MA area go to Buff's Pub...best wings in the NorthEast IMO. They can be found here: Buff's Pub of Newton

That's close enough that I'll try it when I'm down that way. I have an office in Waltham that I don't use as much as I'd like to. Given the traffic there, we normally hit the happy hour at Uno's on Bear Hill or John Brewer's Tavern. Maybe this summer when the weather is nice I'll try to drive the '74 down. I just hate the queue in Chelmsford and crawling at 5mph.

Yeah..I know what you mean. I lived in Belmont in '02 for a few years, hence why I know Buff's, and I would drive my '84 (pre-track car days) to Southie for work. The turnpike at rush hour was painful.

I always asked for my wings extra crispy extra hot. They would definitely make you sit up straight that's for sure.
