LSU took `em to the wire a few weeks ago, as did Georgia last night - mediocre teams both. The Cats have earned this year's overall no. 1 seed, but they ain't no `72 Bruins.

As beleaguered as Florida has been this season......they also gave the Cats a very competitive game in their first match. And they meet again this Saturday in the last regular season game. Then the SEC Championship begins.....and they may meet again.

That said I agree with Matt - they can only beat themselves at this juncture and I too look for them in the finals.

I hear ya, Glen - my #1 sports passion is college football but that's essentially over now until the fall so I'm milking what I can get. College BB is the most fun when your team is in contention, of course.

I'm afraid the ACC tourney (as I've always loved it) is a thing of the past although there are still great games being played. I caught Tues. games in the Coliseum and it'll be several years before it returns back. Remember when "time stood still" as the ACC tourney was being played....no mas
