Whew and I thought I was alone in my perceptions of the R Gruppe and those who were at odds with them...... DR Static ..... My personal hero Brig. Gen Jack D. Ripper USAF couldn't have said it better himself. The clarity U bring to the subject of the R Gruppe is stupetfieing. You sum up everything I wanted to say in such a concise manner......the scope and grasp you have of the core issue is truly amazing. It must have taken you years to formulate such an opinion, gathering data and making observations. I applaude you most whole heartdly in your efforts....I am well just speechless. BTW have you ever thought of publishing these observations I am sure they could gain a wide audience in academia.... Perhaps a lecture tour?

I can't be bothered to read 7 pages of flaming. I will just add to the discussion that I attended my first Cambria R Group gathering this spring. I brought along the wife, two kids, mother in law and her boyfriend. Everyone had a good time and felt comfy. We all commented about how welcoming the group was -- and somewhat surprisingly NON-snobbish.
Maybe the group is better in person than on e-mail and bulletin boards? I don't know, but having met these guys, the initial poll barely makes sense. This is a down to earth group. Carry on with your flaming....
