Unimog at the harbor

I saw this in the Harbor parking lot when we went down for dinner last night. Pretty impressive.

They are great. Off to Ochtrup on Wednesday for some mudbogging in a gaggle of 'mogs...

I want either a Mog or one of those CDF fire trucks, the kind with high ground clearance that they use to blow over fallen trees to fight forest fires.

The Australian Army were using these more than 20 years ago. I'm not sure about now.
(Double cabin. They're absolutely huge inside)

Always dependable but "they" used the narrower tires which was not such a good idea.

Note the narrow tires. Much cheaper but they'd get bogged easily.
