Need new shipper for overseas heavy boxes
I've had a great longtime account with Fedex (since 1997) but they've recently changed my shipping rates dramatically... probably because they found out I'm no longer tied with the corporate account I used to work for and no longer deserve the rates.
Note that I've gone round and round with them the last 7 weeks trying to get my old rates back but to no avail. I'm a pretty small account, about 800 packages last year with Fedex. Anyway, I'm working around it with other carriers (and still a little Fedex), but I've reached a stumbling block with larger and heavier boxes to Europe, Australia etc. The spec on the boxes is too large for USPS, and UPS is more costly even compared to my new higher Fedex rates. As an example, one of my roof racks was about $105 to ship to Europe and now it's about $180 under my "new" Fedex rates. The box is basically like one you would use for a large flat screen TV. Anyone here have a carrier they would like to share? Greatly appreciated! Eric Auto Foreign Services Auto Foreign Services - Accessory Parts

I think it should be illegal to gouge private citizens to subsidize CORPrats
if it costs X to ship as paid by a CORPrat why should joe citizen pay twice as much to move the same size weight the same miles |

I've used FoxGlobal to handle both customs and shipping. They are pretty good.
