I'd love to see some links to those as well. Though it does help explain why I see a lot of Canadian vehicles for sale at auction.[/QUOTE]

Go to ( ford.ca ) not ford.com.They are selling at employee price now with some further discounts at the dealers. There is probably some way they prevent new car sales across border. When I bought a new Boss 302 Mustang in 2012 I found them at about $40k in the US when they were selling here nearer $58 Cdn. with the dollar almost equal. Today a Cdn dollar costs about $0.75 US
Ford wouldn,t allow export until it was registered/titled in the states so that game added at least 6 or 7 % and instantly made it a used car.

That looks nice. What engine? The base is about $700 less than the 2.7 eco.
"1 at this offer" = good luck!

Do you know anyone who ever got the "one at this offer" car? I personally know 1 person ever getting there in time to geth the "one". I do think they are required to actually sell that one bait car, often they list the VIN, but unless it is a dog, you need an "in" to get it.

Could have bought another a few months ago, but it was black. Wouldn't have bought it anyway, ha.

I dunno.... I use my dealer in San Juan Capistrano and these one-onlys have always been easy. I imagine it might be a different deal in a large city.

One at this offer just screams bait and switch. Regardless that isn't shocking for what is probably a base model XLT 4x4. Add 4x4 and a few options and I suspect it's not so cheap anymore.

$10k off all day long in any city in the U.S., any option package. But yes,the truck would get more expensive with options

Here's the offering at our local discount dealership:

New 2015 Ford F-150 XLT - Serving Wichita KS - Rusty Eck Ford

$12,000 off of MSRP on a base model XLT crew cab 2wd with the base 2.7 turbo, so $33275. The catch of course is the fact that it includes "all discounts" which typically includes a trade allowance, financing with Ford, discount for teachers/firefighters/police, etc. Most people will not get that entire $12k in discounts.

That truck with 4x4, a few option packages, and upgrading to either the 5.0 or 3.5 Ecoboost would easily be another $10k, if not more.

Follow up, went boating today so I have some towing feedback. Absolutely night and day vs the 5.0, the Ecoboost is everything that I hoped for. It very rarely has to downshift when towing, you just ride the wave of torque. While I can't make the "didn't know it was back there" claim, at no point did the truck feel like it was laboring to pull my boat. At highway speeds on hills I don't recall it ever having to drop below 5th to maintain speed, and it never revs much over 3000 RPM. The mirrors are a huge upgrade as well, they make towing much easier. At this point I definitely can't justify the diesel, it's all the truck I need unless I end up with a much bigger boat.

25-26' Cobalt bowrider will be my next boat. I've been lusting over them for years.

That place is every bit as terrible as you might imagine. The epitome of sleazy car dealership.
