Interview you about your motorcycle?

I'm about 6 weeks out from going live with a site dedicated to motorcycles (beta is up MotoDhamaka). First iteration is going to be dedicated to talking about custom bikes, primarily interviewing everyday riders about their machines, and talking to custom bike builders.

I'd love to interview some Pelicans about their bikes. The bike doesn't need to be chopped up and 100% custom, it simply needs to have your custom touch on it. If you have any interest, shoot me a PM.

(Higgins, I demand you let me tell the story of both your Sportster and your SS).

This site actually came about because a friend asked me to expand my Ruby on Rails skills so I could help him with his startup. Anyone looking for Rails development?

I'm running a custom made steel frame made from a monster edition Kawasaki zx6r. I have had allot of hate, but can guarantee no one has the same exact thing.

I don't usually have it all packed down like that, was riding back from LA that day.

I like. Seriously considering an old k100 or maybe a k1100 or 1200 (much more $$$ though). I really want a BMW tourer - I've really kind of outgrown my Suzuki Katana even though I've got it tweaked out like crazy - carb jet kit, ignition advance, sprocket change, custom exhaust, changed styling (more "cruiser", less "Jap crotch rocket boy-toy" - I hate that look and deliberately didn't buy a GSXR for that reason). I just want a bigger bike. Told my son when he's 10 he can (if he's mature enough) get full gear and go with me on long m/c trips. He's looking forward to that and I want the "right" bike for that - a Goldwing or a BMW touring bike (and I don't know why but I just can't get into Goldwings at all - and I personally can't stand Harley anything).

Check out a 2002 to 2004 K12RS. I had an 02 and really liked that bike. ABS, cruise, comfortable riding position, plenty of power (130hp as I recall), hard bags, etc. Only possible draw-back is servo brakes, but had them on two bikes and never an issue. Bike stops like the hand of God is involved.

GLW search. I understand your Harley distaste. Yet I own one. My RK is truly a nice bike that is comfortable and fun to ride one up or two. I have always disliked having a windshield/fairing when riding in hot weather. Shield pops off in the spring and goes back on in the fall. Every other bike I've had rides much, much differently with a passenger. This one is clearly built for that purpose. Just stay away from dealerships. I mail order all my parts. Easy to work on to boot. But not trying to sell you. Look at that K12RS. Money is reasonable these days too.

And to keep it on topic, I don't have a bike that would be of much interest at this time. Duc and BMW's are long gone. But look forward to bookmarking your website.
