Need Help - Old comic strip characters
My friend is restoring a quilt her grandmother made back in the 1930s using comic strip characters. We are familiar with most of them, but we cannot find the strip these four were used in or the character's names.
Is anyone familiar with any of these? ![]() ![]() ![]()

Definitely NOT Snuffy Smith or Barney Google.
You might check you tube for cartoons of the era.

The woman looks a lot like "Aunt Mamie" from the Moon Mullins strip.

Last one looks like Denny Dimwit from Winnie Winkle.

You guys are amazing!
Aunt Mamie is probably right, the colors aren't consistent with the images I found when I looked her up, but I think the quilter took some liberties with color. Denny Dimwit is correct for sure. I had never heard of that comic. https://www.google.com/search?q=Denny+Dimwit+from+Winnie+Winkle&biw=1455&bih=953&tbm=isch&imgil=n7dZ67gGoL3f5M%253A%253Bzk7hGhIBsd-NiM%253Bhttps%25253A%25252F%25252Fen.wikipedia.org %25252Fwiki%25252FWinnie_Winkle&source=iu&pf=m&fir=n7dZ67gGoL3f5M%253A%252Czk7hGhIBsd-NiM%252C_&usg=__elk6p6Oz_FFKqvIzGLc-2iXK0do%3D&ved=0CDIQyjdqFQoTCI3PusG7-sYCFcikHgodTXEA7w&ei=UbK1Vc3iKMjJes3igfgO#imgrc=n7dZ67gGoL3f5M%3A&usg=__elk6p6Oz_FFKqvIzGLc-2iXK0do%3D

Get off my lawn!

Take the quilt to a retirement home. They will have some old folks sitting around that would love the company and likely remember the cartoons of they were published in major newspapers.
