Ahh, yeah I missed the part where it was a plastic pole. For some reason I thought I saw a thick walled, sturdy metal pipe.

It seems to me that you could move the dumpster (seriously, why is it at an angle out in the middle of the yard?) and paint some lines on your lot and curb, and you would both free up street parking and keep people from driving through your rope.

Painted lines are coming, but otherwise, that wouldn't work. There are two dumpsters, mine which you can see, and my neighbor's which is directly behind mine. We have a deal. The dumpsters sit on his property and they are accessed through my curb cut. My curb cut runs from my dumpster to the alley. The curb cut in front of the trees is access to our dumpsters and the rest is access to my parking lot. Dumpsters are at an angle for the convenience of the trash truck driver.
