Vince Guaraldi's "A Charlie Brown Christmas" album still makes me happy after 50 years.

Two of my favs have already been mentioned
Poco - Rose Of Cimmaron

IZ- Somewhere Over The Rainbow

My wife is from Hawaii, and gave me a cd of IZ with that song on it, loved the big guy ever since.
Other times it depends on the mood. Sometimes like to listen to Irish music by the Elders, or some old folk songs from the 60s like from Glenn Yarborough, or some stuff from the 80's like 'Take on Me'. Lots of options for a lot of moods....

Strange? Maybe, but this song provides me with a mental reset and clarity when I'm stressed.

Everyone has a little devil in 'em...

Southern Cross- Crosby Stills & Nash
best listened to alone, on the deck of any boat, outside of the harbor.

Chains N Things - BB King. Close your eyes and rock your head back and forth, listen close to keyboard changes. NOTHING like good blues after a challenging day.

Novacaine- Green Day

A strange thing, 'cause I have never been much of a fan, but I feel instantly transported when I spin U2's Joshua Tree album. Maybe it takes me back to a simpler time in my life, back to a place I left behind and desperately miss...a place I hope I can return to. Oddly, I was into much more alternative and "underground" genres of music when it was released. But I consider it their opus. A few faves from that release, that make me teary-eyed:
Red Hill Mining Town:

One Tree Hill:

Running to Stand Still:

I was big into progressive rock when U2 hit and they were also off my radar.

Can't remember when/how I connected with them but I ended up with a few of their DVD's

Hard not to jump up and down and sing along with "beautiful day".

Also love "where the streets have no name" but it makes me cry.
