When you see it, let me know...
Why this picture is just dumb. I've been having a good laugh on this for a couple days now.

OK, I'll have a go...
Huskies feel the weather has finally come right when it starts to snow. And there is nothing they like more than a good night's sleep in the snow? |

They should have used a chihuahua for that. Someone didn't know very much about dogs when they made that!

Looks happy as can be. Our lab enjoys the snow, rain, mud, etc. She's an outside dog but enjoys a heated doghouse on a covered deck, heated water bowl, good food, etc. Not a rough life.

If that dog was cold, it's legs wouldn't be all spread out, it would be curled into a little ball with it's nose tucked up under it's tail.
That dog is feeling relief at the cold temps.

I had an Alaskan Malamute (like a big Husky).
I would see him in the yard on 0 degree F mornings, lying on his back, legs splayed, belly to the sky... happy as could be. |

I let my 2 knuckleheads out this morning when it was -9F.
I couldn't get them to come back in for a couple hours so I'm thinking it doesn't bother them much

I had a Lab/Husky mix. When we went winter backpacking in the ADKs he had to sleep in the vestibule because he would melt a hole in the snow.

For years we raised outdoor wolf/hybrids (legally) that were artic timber/tundra wolf mixed with malamute, 135# and seven feet long from nose to tip of tail. These guys lived for the snow /ice of January and February, they were much more active, and in better moods during zero degree days. They suffered through the hot summer months staying in the shade and barely moving.
We have friends that have a chihuahua, and that damned thing shivers on a 70 degree day in the sun. |

Amazing when you think these dogs can run bare pawed in the snow for days with zero issues.
EDIT: http://phys.org/news/2012-01-dogs-ice-paws.html "The paws have pads containing a high fat content, which freezes less easily than other tissues, but they also have a high surface area-to-volume ratio, which means they should lose heat easily..."
