Elissa Is Possibly Going Home Tomorrow
We cant get our hopes up yet but there is possibly an End tomorrow (Monday) to Elissa and her All Inclusive 81 day stay in the hospital. The home health providers were prepping all the equipment on Friday for a delivery tomorrow. We were told the cost was over .78 Million Dollars and her insurance is picking up all of it. She will require 2 Liters of oxygen per minute which is down from her worst days of 12 LPM. So Happy for all of your support for such a special little girl.
The dozen Lobsters in our freezer from before Christmas are sounding really good to Elissa as we talked about it as I was leaving the hospital tonight. She will be on Home IVs foe the next 21 days.

Wow! Still a tough slog ahead but I'm so happy that things are going in the right direction.
Give her a hug for the Pelican gang, we have all been rooting for her. Also glad to hear that the insurance is cooperating, I was quietly wondering about this.

Great news to hear Gary! I'm sure you all will be relieved to be home for a change.
The lobster plan should be a fitting celebration. Elissa seems such a bright spirit, thanks for sharing her glow with us. Let her know her homecoming is being celebrated worldwide Aloha Richard |
