Chris Rock ruined it for me.
Racial diversity is the norm for film production employees in Vancouver. The Grammys had a disproportionate black contingent. i did not here any complaints. |

Umm Chris Rock. Surely in rehearsals someone would have said his speech is not OK. And if he is being paid, which I'm sure he is, it's not the time for a personal rant. |

Leo was whining about having to go to the Southern Hemisphere for snow and cold weather, well Leo, it's usually not cold and snowy here in the summer, you should have waited for winter. I mean Leo, the seasons are reversed, didn't anyone tell you, it's the winter here summer there thingy.

I'm a big fan of diversity and Chris Rock (though it is difficult to get past his potty mouth when he does standup)
I am not a big fan of award shows... to the point where I will not voluntarily watch any of them. I am also not a huge movie fan, but my wife is so we occasionally go to a movie on date night. Therefore I don't have a encyclopedic knowledge base of all the moves that were available for awards. I don't hear much from the protesters RE: who should have got an award that didn't?
