China F1 Quali
One Merc at the front and one at the back.
Might be fun to watch, the Merc at back should have a new engine/trans and a bunch of tires to choose from, and nobody in his mirrors for awhile at least. Looking forward to it. Last edited by yellowperil; 04-16-2016 at 06:43 AM.. |

This is when drivers like Hamilton and Vettel thrive. Consider the psychological effect on Nico if Hamilton comes form dead last to take the race.

This is usually one of my least favorite races, so this might jazz it up a bit. Ham has 4 wins here so he know his way around. Kimi
quite capable also. Could be good I hope. Last edited by yellowperil; 04-16-2016 at 06:50 AM.. |

Sporadic light rain would further enhance the excitement potential.

Turned out an excellent race, surprisingly enough.

I can't believe the amount of rubber that is off line. When they show a low shot at track level you can see it.

I can't believe Ferrari pitted both cars repeatedly in the middle of the race. The tires were good for a lot more laps than they used them for. And for Mercedes to pit Hamilton 5 times? That's at least an extra 2 stops, so an extra 50 seconds. It didn't seem to help his pace, so why do it? Bizarre...
I understand Kvyat's position in the first turn and I don't think he was that out of line, but he sure acted like an ass in the post race room. That may bite him in the ass at the end of the year... I expect Max will have his seat. JR |

Very fun to watch. As one commentator described it: One exhibition drive and 21 other guys racing.

A very good race!!! Pleasantly surprised! Perhaps it's time for me to eat some crow and give F1 another chance! I have been pretty far removed from it all as my interest in MotoGP and IMSA has greatly increased.
