An NFL Draft Question
So, I'm only intermittently interested in football, but the deals this draft season are intriguing me.
Rams empty their pockets to get #1 from Titans. Eagles then empty their pockets to get #2 from Browns. Neither Rams nor Browns want the 1st round QBs enough to keep the trade. Unlike last year when both Titans and Bucs turned down pocket-emptying trades for their #1 and #2 picks and Winston/Mariota. But both Rams and Browns themselves need QBs, badly. So the difference in opinion as to the merits of this year's QBs is very wide. Who's right?

Not a sports guy, but from what I understand it can be a multi-trade/multi team setup, or trying to work a multi trade/team setup.

The Browns are in perpetual rebuilding mode....haven't had a good stetch of seasons since the Bernie Kosar era in the late 1980s. They have been trying to string along some marginal players, hoping that that one special quarterback will be thier savior......It hasn't happened, so finally this year, they cleaned house and start fresh.
I think the Browns will come out looking good from this blockbuster deal, and hopefully be a contender in a few years. |
