Not surprising...I'm thinking small government funded niche automaker with very limited R&D and testing resources most of which were probably put into battery/motor/charging development.

In the 1980's, Ferrari had a few F40s returned under lemon laws. Because Ferrari had to reimburse the buyers for sale price and not MSRP, and because the cars were selling for way over MSRP, Ferrari nearly folded as a result. To avoid similar problems in the future, Ferrari instructed its dealers to get selective about who they sold cars to. For example, many Ferrari dealers require the purchase of a used Ferrari before a buyer is allowed to buy a new Ferrari. This is to weed out the buyers who are not true believers in the brand and who are not willing to overlook the vehicle's flaws. Tesla should accept its fate as a boutique carmaker and adopt a similar strategy.
