Location: Placerville, CA.... You know, the only place on Highway 50 between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe the you find signal lights. Above the fog most of the time and I can see the stars of the Milky Way 8 out of 10 nights. Kinda cool.....

It was like a war zone in Sacramento. I guess the days of the illegal fireworks task force are a thing of the past.
It was totally off the hook, fires kicking up everywhere

Thank you, Denis. Just a quick snap I took yesterday morning, caught the wind blowing at just the right time. Straight out of the camera except for cropping. Glad you liked it.

July 4, 2003 at an undisclosed forward location.

Miss these guys. Cash (the guy with the eye injury) was assigned to drive the General around. When they tried to assign a new driver for the General he joked “Eh, don’t bother. It’s not like Cash is going to drive any worse than before.”

(He made a full recovery)
