Friends and family who post their political views on Facebook

Or, in the upper right corner of their posts, there is a pulldown arrow, you can select unfollow, and you won't see the posts, but remain friends.

It's a public place, not relly a forum. I like to follow family, and make sure my kids are ok.

It also keeps me in touch with out of state cousins.

What I really don't understand is how some people post non stop political BS. If they contribute nothing else they get un-followed at the very minimum.
Some time ago an idiotic "Woman" posted a picture of an aborted fetus. I unfriended her immediately.

There's one lady on my friends list who posts lots of anti religious or establishment stuff.
I find that extremely annoying but she does sometime post something interesting so instead of un-following her I block the source of her share.

As an example... Just select "Hide all from Ned". That way Mark can share all of Ned's annoying stuff and you'll never see it again.



It may take a while but eventually you'll have a clean News Feed.

For me Facebook is about fun, light Entertainment & that's it.

I logged onto faceplant just to change some setting on some of my friends. Some on the both sides of the political fence!

I don't facebook. I do use LinkedIn - which is a VERY inappropriate place to post political views - but they still show up there....

I don't use facebook. I never liked it, never saw a need for it. From the moment it asked what college i went to and I got 10,000 contacts for possible friends (or whatever that was, I just remember being appalled at suddenly seeing 10000 things on my phone that I didn't put there) I said "I don't need this in my life."

It is super annoying, I have to sit on my hands to avoid responding sometimes.

It seems like the old people I know are mostly super right, and the young people are mostly left.
