Dave Letterman was doing a bit on his show.

How bands get their names.

It had to do with random body parts and animals randomly combined.

Stomach and Monkeys was a combo that came up.

He started an improve on how he had Mexican the night before and he had the stomachmonkeys.

Not sure why but I found it funny so registered the URL the next day.

Couple of years later I got an offer to buy the domain from a German punk band named "The Stomachmonkeys"

I declined.

True story.
