The art of racing in the rain
All:
What a wonderful story! I will mail my copy to the first person wants it. All I ask is that you pass it on to another Pelicanite- and make the recipient promise to do the same. Cheers and Merry Christmas! Paul.

Trailer doesn't do the book justice, IMHO.

Nice read. My wife read it with her book group. What I liked is that the author actually knew something about cars. He got most of the esoteric details just right. That level of attention makes me happy.

Do NOT read this on an airplane... Yes, it will make you cry. It will also make you laugh, make you feel the rush of a fast car, and most importantly, it offers the promise of an even better journey in the next life.

i read it in a tunnel, during excavation. i was wearing a petzel headlamp. bad timing, with the sadness tearjerker parts...i was bawling in front of a bunch of manly miners.
almost ruined my street creds with them. fantastic book.

It's a great read. Definitely not going to go down in history with Dickens and Hemingway, but still a well-written, if at times a bit sentimental, book. Great story, fun, great characters - the kind of book you want to re-read, to go back and spend time with them again.
