Another pithy quote that grabbed the spammers attention.

Thank you. Not finished yet. There will be more. FYI, If anyone wants to download all of the pictures when the motor is done, the original post has a link to the database that you can do a zip download of the complete gallery.

Yes. I need to talk to Jerry Woods and see what he would charge for doing the initial run in/break in on it. There is another place that does it too that Ted from German Precision recommended. I think it would be nice to show that the motor is solid inside and out.

Looks nice... almost exactly how I rebuilt mine last year.
What chip do you plan to use with the 964 cams?

Thank you.
I do not have a car for the motor, thus, no DME control unit. That is for whomever buys the motor to determine what chip they want for their car. If I did have a car, it would be a Steve Wong chip (911chips.com) hands down. Steve made a custom chip for my twin plugged 3.4 motor in my 87 Carrera a few years back. I was very happy with it. Purred like a kitten.

I took off from work early today and drove up to Parts Heaven in Hayward to visit "Big AL", and Spencer. I bought a nice set of heat exchangers from them for the motor. (remember, it did not come with an exhaust system) From there I went to German Precision armed with an 18 pack of suds for Ted and glass beaded the heat exchangers. I'll head to the shop tomorrow and get those painted up nice, mounted on the motor, and do what ever else I can on it. Other then that....I am going to take it easy this weekend and take some time off with the family.
As always, more pictures coming your way.

Thank you for following the thread! As Joe Bob posted....$1,000,000.00 dollars!

Heater boxes cleaned up very nicely. I wanted to do more today but I am kind of stuck now waiting for the plating stuff to be finished. I also need to procure a catalytic converter and heater piping that is sandwiched between the muffler and heat exchangers.

I got the hardware back from the platers today. I also got my fan, fan housing, strap, and pulley parts back from being refinished. I spent quite awhile today putting the injection system back together. It's getting closer to being finished. I have a few more pieces that I need to buy still.
