Location: Placerville, CA.... You know, the only place on Highway 50 between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe the you find signal lights. Above the fog most of the time and I can see the stars of the Milky Way 8 out of 10 nights. Kinda cool.....

My little girl - Nefertiti - and yes, she is quite the queen.
She was rescued from an over crowded kitten mill... very sweet, has never scratched or even tried to bite, but was never around humans much (she grew up in a cage). She loves being petted and has the biggest purr engine, but petting has to happen on her terms, and only in certain places in the house (my bed being the best spot).

Seems the word is out that my development is cat friendly.
Got two more this week. A black and white tuxedo that I've only seen twice. It's skittish. Seems to be palling around with this one. Neighbor down the street has the two of them on his security camera. She's really sweet and friendly. No fear of people at all and does not mind being handled. Picked up. She sat with my son in the garage for over an hour just getting pet and enjoying life.
