Amazing to see a cat that likes to get it belly brushed.

That is a no go zone for both our cats.

Yeah, she is unique. Hands down the most affectionate cat that we have ever had.

This is the brush she digs. Must feel good as it combs through the fur. It's actually a soft feel.

Does a great job pulling the fine soft fur away when she starts shedding.
And at any time to be truthful.

Those two are adorable. Glad to hear Biscuit is living large on the couch and getting comfy. You guys do some seriously good work.

Marie is the spitting image of a kitty I got when I was 12. I named her Booperkanupple, Booper for short. Hey, I was 12...........She passed 26 years later. Talk about tearing ones heart out.

Not sure this will work, never tried to embed a video from facebook... in Los Angeles the 4th is like a war zone with the fireworks... last night The wife and I went to a move theater that was up on a hill with the parking lot overlooking the city. When the move got out (9:00PM) the view was amazing (and a little frightening).

Anywho, our two feral foster cats didn't seem fazed, however they were born in a parking lot of a construction company warehouse next to the freeway so they are used to a lot of noise:

Ice cream cat! Love it.
Hey Bustrider, long shot, but you don't happen to know Mark Brudo do you? He's up in Placerville too... long time VW and small engine guy amongst other "collections".

Well we have grieved the loss of Oliver (who's body I found and buried a couple days after Coyote death)😔

I'm happy to introduce Benjamin! He's a 3 1/2 MO Tabby rescue from our local shelter.

Seems to be a great fit in our household so far! Curious and spunky kitten, but also a lover.

Chester is still in the "accepting" but growling and hissing phase...he did groom the kitten some today though.

Our son Hudson chose him at the shelter. "This one looks so sad. He has tears, (upper respiratory infection) he needs a good home"

Those are some great pics of your new family member. Glad you found a rescue kitty. I have a theory on orange cats and from the looks of Benjamin's comfort level with you, I think my theory is a sound one. He will be a very cool kitty. I really dig the relaxed poses.

Love it!!!

Our Onyx not only loves ice cream and it seems everything else I like.....

Popcorn, bread, pizza, sandwiches, pretzels, water melon or anything she gets her claws into. Guess it goes back to her feral days. It's rather funny, if I sit down on the couch she is there trying to gingerly pull my hand towards her so she can see/taste what I'm having. All the time while yowling for me to share. She does know her boundaries. Kitchen is a no go but the couch is fair game.

As far as knowing Mark, the name escapes me. Where is his shop? I know Drew who owned German Auto Werks and Gary who use to own it before selling it to Drew.

Cheers
Bugs

That is a great picture of DiDi. Onyx tends to "assist" me whenever I turn on the computer. Be thankful she doesn't do it regularity. Especially when paying bills on-line. I guarantee they will stroll across yur keyboard the moment you step away to fine a bill. Then you will worry about what stranger was paid some random amount.

This little gas bag just blew a juicy cat fart at the wife.....

My side is going to split from laughing so bloody hard. I heard it from three feet away. Fogged the room and even Henry looked up

Helplessly disabled by evil cat gas... you can't make this shat up

Here's Oscar.

Oscar lives inside, he's not been outside at all since he was found in a ditch as a tiny kitten. Now, he gets lots of open window time, but he's never been outside. So, we thought that maybe he might want some grass to smell. I got a piece of sod and put it in a box...

I guess the grass is OK! The problem is, sod (especially here) is dried out burned out bermuda crabgrass junk, which lasts 3 or 4 days inside. So, how to get fresh grass? Grow it! Hydroponic wheatgrass/catgrass on seedling pads, grows in 4 or 5 days and is healthy for him to chew on...

Even better! He loves it!

Interestingly, his favorite toy is a small plush snake. He also has a longer plush snake that he carries around. Even though cats are supposed to be afraid of snakes, he seems to like them. So, when I saw an actual 5 foot long plush Diamondback at the gift shop in Arizona, I knew he needed it!

Here's our resident stray, she's been coming around for dinner for about 6 or 8 months now. Never hangs out, just wanders up the driveway for dinner when she hears my car come home.

She has a very strict 10 foot rule, we've never gotten closer. You step towards her, and she backs away one step. You step back, and she steps forward.

She also has a kinda dumb but fluffy friend who sometimes follows her around, eating whatever food she leaves behind.

Yes, she knows that she has wicked blue eyes.
