Update from previous posts:
Bella's kittens are now 7 weeks old and have taken over the bedroom with running and jumping all over the place. When they reach 12 weeks old, they will have had their first round of vaccines and will be available for adoption. 2 boys and 1 girl. They each weigh around 2 pounds now. Please PM me if you are interested.

Installed some new cat furniture in my office https://www.catastrophicreations.com/product-category/cat-mod/

The box was attached to an old cat tree we had; I re-carpeted it and just mounted it on shelf brackets.

Our new office cat, Lady. She actually belongs to my daughter, but we are babysitting her while daughter is deployed.

The official CAT thread

Hey D,

Lady looks like she will become a great Office kitty. Ahhhh, good luck on her going back home after your daughter returns....

Between Lady being incredibly socialized to people, equipment, noises and....... being the center of attention, she may want to stay.

Here is a question to the group. Our two new additions are doing well, in fact we call them the heathens because they get that “monkey tail” and there is no stopping them tearing the house up. Can’t recommend enough getting two if circumstances allow. They can play together while we are away at work.

Back on point, come spring I would like to build some form of removable cat window for these two so they can enjoy the fresh air without them getting outside. I have seen things for sale online as well as some awesome creations by our own members. But most of those are of a permanent type basis. I am looking at a portable type idea that can be moved from window to window.

So post em if you got em..... pics of your different window catatios.

Cheers

Think window air conditioning unit. With expandable sides. Maybe you could find an old non-working unit that you can cut down the sides and such. Install a mesh wire and stick it in the window.

I think you're very right, Bugs. And don't forget all the other "ladies" in the office who are fast becoming attached!

Re cat windows, you might try googling "Catio" - like patio. Lots there.

Also, I have been ruminating over building one of these behind our house some day :

The official CAT thread

One of the best “cheap” cat toys we have discovered......

Ping pong balls, absolutely hilarious to watch in action. Especially if you have laminate or hardwood floors.

Lithium ion batteries recharging all day for an “all night” activity run
Update at 2205 hours PST: oh good lord, they can be heard bounding back and fourth downstairs, chirping at each other. Then add them bounding up and down stairs(wood) and now thrashing around the bedroom. Enjoying them bounding over us as they run and chase each other on the bed with an occasional hit and run on the feet. 0300 will roll around mighty early but they make me laugh and it’s worth it. Irritated the wife until she drops off to sleep, that makes me laugh even more.

The Thai Burmese having dinner.

Wong the male on the left with Bella and her kittens.

Kittens have had their first round of vaccines and go back for their second round the 29th. Then in another 2 weeks they will be available for there new homes. If you are interested, please PM me. Or contact me on my FaceBook page, Thai Cat House.

... and this is Wong with one of his sons. A more accurate depiction of the adult sable color and current kitten color. The kittens will darken just like their mom and dad.
