I built our cats a new scratcher toy: 200' of sisal rope wrapped around 18" of 12" sonontube, with some indoor/outdoor carpet on the inside.

They played with it for 5 minutes and haven't touched it since.

Thanks for that, thinking about the pile of cans. While the concept is sound, storage would be an issue if there were many.

Got me thinking about our troll that lives under the house. He only likes the Meow-Mix pate toppers. They come in single serving plastic cups. Does the same thing and they are stackable. Several cups, single footprint for easy storage for a few.

Almost ended up with another rescue....

Was brought into the shelter at two weeks, bottle fed and has a fantastic personality.







Luckily, I was saved by an older lady who lost her kitty a couple of weeks ago that gave him a forever home.

Then I met April, a five year old girl who wanted belly rubs and some lovein. Socialize with other cats....

MORRISTOWN, Ariz. (AP) — Her owners say Grumpy Cat, whose sourpuss demeanor became an internet sensation, has died at age 7.

Posting on social media Friday, Grumpy Cat’s owners wrote that she experienced complications from a urinary tract infection and “passed away peacefully” Tuesday “in the arms of her mommy.”




Her owners said “Grumpy Cat has helped millions of people smile all around the world — even when times were tough.”

The cat’s real name was Tardar Sauce, and she rose to fame after her photos were posted online in 2012. She had more than 2 million followers on Instagram and more than 1 million on Twitter.

Her website says her grumpy look was likely because she had a form of dwarfism.

Owner Tabatha Bundesen founded Grumpy Cat Limited, and the cat made numerous appearances, including commercials.
