Location: Placerville, CA.... You know, the only place on Highway 50 between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe the you find signal lights. Above the fog most of the time and I can see the stars of the Milky Way 8 out of 10 nights. Kinda cool.....

So I'll add to the cat fancy.
These are my two Burmese that both lived to 17 and died a month apart from kidney failure last October and November. They both grew up together from kittens.  And these are the new kittens: This is Anakin Thai Maew, a Suphalak (soup-a-luck) imported from Thialand on 29 May:  And today:  And as of last week, is another import from Thailand. A Thai Burmese named Wong Maew:  When the two first met, there was a hissing match. Now they wrestle and chase each other and then... Bird watching out the back door...  And taking a snooze...  They both are foundation cats for breeding programs to bring the Suphalak to the US, and to revive the Burmese breed from its downfall of inbreeding which introduced genetic defects and short lives.
