Elissa And Our First Dry Run.

15 Hours ago I started this post......Sadly we are all home with our first dry run. I will explain in a new post. All is good with us.

New post. So we got the call at 10;15 last night and we had to make a decision fairly fast. We decide to take the offer and wait for the next phone call.
This was a young donor and was in a fatal car wreck and was brain dead.
This left lots of time to harvest the organs with several teams of Doctors. We were told that there was a risk with the donor due to the fact that 1 indicator of possibly a higher risk Drug use, Sex partners, Jail , Homosexual .We tool the risk. Well after 15 hours the harvest team said 1 lung had some damage due to the accident and was not usable.
