Beautiful, but IMHO the 308/328 were the most beautiful of the 'modern' Ferraris.
Except the 288GTO, all-time fave.

Tough crowd. I like it. A lot. Interesting lines and shapes. Low, sexy and fast...looking. Probably even better in the flesh. Would happily clear space in my humble carriage house.

Not bad, especially compared to the lambo and corvette posted above. Yikes!?
For my tastes, when it comes to Ferrari: Modern=95 355 with a 6 speed Classic=67 330GTC. Not the quad headlight one.

The 308 has carried on, as the 328, 348, 355, 360, 430, and 488(?)
Not sure what the current model is, I sort of stopped following Ferrari's when I realized I liked the 944 much better than any Ferrari that wasn't a collector like the BB Porsche-o-Phile posted.

That would be a McLaren P1. BTW, don't get me wrong - I would not kick it out of the garage for leaking oil on the floor or anything like that.

If the 308 had carried on
To my eye, it looks to be much more derivative of the F50 than the 308. That thick black beltline is a callback as well as the "open star" wheel design. As well as the fact they went with the same number; F50... J50? ![]() And re: "the origami thing," I think we're pretty much stuck with that insofar as supercar design for the foreseeable future. There might be a retro-ish design or two once in awhile, but lots of sharp edges seem to be here to stay. The current and future crop of high-end buyers demand as much "radical edginess" as the designers can supply.

Same here. After the 355 I'm really not familiar with Ferrari anymore.
